A child puts on a new pair of shoes and goes to the river for a snack. Along the way, he discovers the world around him: streets, houses, landscapes, people, and animals. His shoes gather experiences, and little by little, he grows. The size of our shoes grows with us: it measures the size of the foot, but also age, experiences, and how we navigate through life.
Days, years, and shoeboxes pass by. Small, medium, large… Starting from a local dimension with a traditional event in a Mediterranean village, the show expands to the universal theme of the initiatory journey. What is an adventure for children is an opportunity for adults to reconnect with their own childhood.
